Location:
Located in the majestic San Juan Mountains on Highway 550. "The San Juan Skyway" is one of only six All-American Roads designated by the US Dept. of Transportation. The Lodge is river rock and cedar on the exterior with a metal roof. A large two-story lobby with river rock fireplace welcomes you. The rooms are clean and comfortable. All with King and Queen beds. Amenities include: Indoor heated pool, spa, sauna, complimentary continental breakfast, game room, guest laundry and sundeck. The mountain views are spectacular.

Directions from I-5 North:
Coming North on I-5, exit right onto Tamarack Avenue, take a left at Pio Pico Drive, and go one block.

Exit left onto Tamarack avenue, turn left again on Pio Pico, and go 1 block further.

Oceanside Pier and Harbor:
Stroll on Oceanside's landmark pier for a unique vantage point of the beautiful coastline. The quaint harbor with hundreds of small sailboats is also a departure point for deep-sea fishing and whale watching.

The largest of California's 21 missions, San Luis Rey dominates the skyline on the eastern edge of Oceanside.

Wild Animal Park:
The San Diego Wild Animal Park is one of the foremost wildlife preserves in the world. Here, animals from around the globe are born, live, and thrive in a free environment. A monorail tram takes visitors on a 5 mile, 50 minute tour of the preserve.

Quail Botanical Gardens:
Within its 31 acres can be found the widest array of plant life of any botanical garden in Southern California.

Del Mar Fairgrounds and Racetrack:
While trade shows and exhibits are held throughout the year, the fairgrounds really come alive in mid-June until early July when it becomes the site of the Del Mar Fair and for horse racing season beginning in late July.

Explore the Pacific through colorful marine life displays, an offshore tidepool and exhibits on current oceanographic research.

Palomar Observatory:
