Cave of The Winds:

Royal Gorge Bridge:
Cross the worlds highest suspension bridge and take an eagles eye view of the rushing Arkansas River 1,053 feet below. Completed in 1929, the Royal Gorge Bridge is only part of this exciting park. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo:
Open year round, you'll see over 500 diverse and exotic creatures that live on the slopes of Cheyenne Mountain above the city of Colorado Springs. At 9'494 feet above sea level you'll find this quaint western gambling town nestled in the heart of the Rockies. This historic western mining town is host to over 28 casinos, video arcades, restaurants, shops, and the nations longest running melodrama. Get a free gold ore sample, 1,000 feet underground when you visit the Mollie Kathleen Mine. After your history tour at the museum, catch a ride on the Cripple Creek and Victor Gaugen Railroad which will take you on a scenic trip through Cripple Creek to Victor 10 miles away. Free shuttle service is available to our guest from Colorado Springs to Cripple Creek.

Seven Falls:
Only 10 minutes from the Best Western Palmer House. You'll find the World famous Seven Falls and South Cheyenne Canyon and all of their natural splendors. A new express elevator which tunnels 170 ft. into the mountain side will whisk you 130 feet up, through the mountain itself to the eagle's nest platform, with the best view of the seven separate falls as they splash and tumble 181 feet down the sheer granite cliff. Or take the majestic walk of the native Americans up 224 steps to the mile long nature trail. At night the entire canyon is illuminated with spectacular lights and a Native American show begins, carrying your enjoyment, well into the starfilled sky's.
