Italian Suite or Provencal Room - Queen Bed Individual Decor-Whirlpool-Shower Italian Suite - This suite evokes the ocher and umber landscapes, Roman grandeur, and artistic flourish of Italy. The spacious, sunny bedroom, with a sweetheart loveseat nestled between columns in a wide window bay, looks out on a leafy, 19th century streetscape. A windowed study alcove leads to a classically-inspired private bathroom and shower with body jets. The Provencal Room - This room, our homage to the South of France, has the warm glow of sunflowers cooled by the azure of sea and sky. Double windows take in the golden morning light, framing a peaceful, shady park. The private bath is at once casual and luxurious, with floodlit stained glass above a whirlpool for 2, an oversized shower, and curtained bay windows that give out onto a sheltered sitting porch, enfolded in greenery.

The New England Suite - Queen Bed and Sofabed Sofabed-Fireplace-Whirlpool Tub The New England Suite - This suite blends country and maritime themes in guest room with the feel of old-time 'Shoreline Connecticut,' inspired by the historic waterside setting moments beyond these walls. The large sitting room has the feel of an old shuttered, plank-pine barn, and has a window seat and a queen sofabed with innerspring mattress facing a working gas fireplace with slate mantel. The bedroom is decorated in traditional navy and toupe patterns and rich woods. The bathroom has brass and cherry wood appointments that highlight a generous whirlpool tub with tiled shower surround.

La Boheme or The Tropics - Queen/Shared Bath Shared Bath-Individual Decor La Boheme - This, a fantasia of fin-de-siecle Paris, nestles garret-like under the eaves and is filled with mahogany, plush floral patterns, and the flowing lines of art nouveau. This queen-bedded room shares a large hall bath room with tub and shower with one other guest room. The Tropics - This queen-bedded room is a meditation of the exotic, far-off lands between the tropics that moved explorers to set sail for the unknown. Bamboo and mosquito netting, folk masks and palm leaves invite daydreams of your own special island. A sunny southern exposure frames 19th century rooftops. A large, full hall bath with tub and shower is shared with one other guest room.
