Description:  Residence Inn by Marriott is designed to make you feel at home for a day, a week, a month or more. Our suites give you fifty percent more space than a traditional hotel room. The Residence Inn New Haven is located one block from the Amtrak/Metro North station and two miles west of downtown and Yale University. Studios are large open rooms with either one king bed, one queen bed or two double beds, full bath and furnished living/dining area with fireplace in most units. Penthouse suites are bilevel units on the second floor of the hotel only with one queen bed and full bath in lofted bedroom and one double Murphy (pulldown) bed, full bath and furnished living room with balcony, dining area and fireplace on the main level. Some penthouse suites have a separate bedroom on the main level with one queen bed instead of a Murphy bed in the living area. All accommodations have a fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker, cooking and eating utensils, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator with icemaker. A complimentary breakfast hot buffet is served daily featuring breads and pastries, cereals and hot oatmeal, eggs, fruits and juices, hot and cold beverages, waffles, yogurt and local specials.
