What to do on your visit to Naples?

Known as one of Florida's great golf capitals, Naples boasts an extensive selection of courses where professionals and duffers alike find challenge. Other favorite recreational pastimes are set on the Gulf of Mexico or one of Naples many other waterfronts. Charters take fishermen to deep waters or into the back bays and waters of Ten Thousand Islands to hook snook, tarpon, redfish, ladyfish, sheepshead, and other worthy opponents. Eco-tours, whether by swamp buggy, air boat, pontoon, or ranger-led excursion, introduce visitors to the mysterious, maze-like world of Ten Thousand Islands, part of Everglades National Park.

Watersports concessions on the beach rent small sailboats, sea kayaks, water bikes, jet skis, and other get-wet toys. The 1,000-feet-long Naples Pier is a popular gathering spot for fishermen, strollers, sunset gazers, and brown pelicans.
