Directions from Atlanta:  Take I-85 north. Near Gainesville, take a left on 985. It becomes the 365 north of Gainesville, and turns into Hwy 441 through Tallulah Fall into Clayton.
Overview:  Rabun County is located in the northeastern corner of Georgia and borders South Carolina to the east and North Carolina to the north. The country has unique natural boundaries on all sides. a mountain recreation and retirement haven uniquely situated, with the western boundary being the "Big A.T.", or the Appalachian trail; the east borders the Chatooga River, designate a "Wild and scenic river". The south gateway is the Tallulah Gorge, carved from a roaring river. Georgia's only Ski Slope is just inside the northeastern border.
