Follow curve to right at Puunene Sugar Mill
Proceed on Highway 311 for approximately 5?? miles

Kula Botanical Garden: 
Home to several varieties of tropical and semi-tropical flowers including Maui??s hallmark flower, the protea. You can also view orchids, bromeliads and other native plants.
This six-acre garden is designed for casual strolling and identifying plants.

Maui Tropical Plantation: 
Covering 60 acres in the Waikapu Valley, this working plantation produces sugar cane, pineapple, coffee, bananas, mangoes, papayas, avocado, starfruit and macadamia nuts. The nursery is a feast for the eyes, featuring hibiscus, orchid, ginger and more.

Watch the sunrise from the summit of the 10,000' Haleakala Crater, then enjoy an exhilarating 38 mile downhill bicycle tour. Guests are picked up at their hotels in air conditioned vans and then driven to the crater. Once you arrive at the crater you will be given a safety briefing and then enjoys magnificent views from the observation deck. Maui Downhill
Bike down a 10,000 foot volcano after viewing a spectacular sunrise from the crater rim. The tour includes hotel pick-up, escort van, breakfast and all equipment. The 38 mile ride is almost entirely downhill with panoramic views of Lanai, Molokai, Kaho'olawe and Maui during the descent. A mid-day trip is also available and children must be 12 years or older and be at least 5'0" tall.
