In the late 1800's Julius Vogt established the original Quiet House in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, featuring comfort and hospitality. Four generations later, we continue this tradition at the Best Western Quiet House & Suites in the river city of Galena, blending 100 years of hospitality with 20th century service and amenities. Guests choose from executive or leisure suites, elegant luxury suites with whirlpool, or specialty theme suites that showcase the special history of the area, each suite boasts its own decor. Galena is an exquisite architectural treasure with numerous historical sites, President Grant's Home, fine restaurants, and many antique shops. Also enjoy golfing, downhill and cross-country skiing, Mississippi Riverboat Gambling and dog racing.
