Location:
When you visit Perry Cabin, built just after the war of 1812, you can easily imagine you've taken leave of the Twentieth Century. Drive along Talbot Street or come by boat from the Bay, the long, low pearly-white Colonial mansion stands pristine and welcoming in its frame of emerald lawns. Approaching from any part of its twenty-five acre estate, you'll hear sounds of water, small boats sculling in Fogg Cove, birds on the Miles River, the hoot of big ships in the Bay. Inside the Inn, all the principal rooms face this bayside scene. The Inn is within an easy reach of Washington, Baltimore and Philadelphia. St.Michaels, a small town that seems to live in a time warp. It slumbers on a beautiful cove off the Chesapeake Bay on the Miles River with docking facility for boats. |
