United States Coast Guard Festival:
Grand Haven, Michigan is now officially known as "Coast Guard City USA". Every year we hold an annual festival to honor the men and women who have and still are serving in the United States Coast Guard. Grand Haven has a beautiful Coast Guard station and many Coast Guard men and women are stationed there. This festival is the last week of July and first weekend of August. Call six to seven months in advance to make your reservations for this wonderful event.

World's Largest Musical Fountain:
Grand Haven is the home of the "World's Largest Musical Fountain", a spectacular display of water and lights that is choreographed with music. It runs daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day and on Fridays and Saturdays in early May and September. This show lasts for about 15 to 20 minutes at dusk.

Lighthouse Connector Park:
The Grand Haven Lighthouses were established in 1839. It is one of only four lighthouses that has the catwalk to this day. The United States Coast Guard maintains the pier and the lighthouses in Grand Haven. The walk to the end of the pier is about 2 ?? miles. It begins at Chinook Pier and ends at the magnificent lighthouses of Grand Haven.
