Self guided tours and museums, the Little Bighorn River where Lt. Custer and 7th Cavalry were slain by Sioux and Cheyenne Indians in 1876.
Indian Caves:  7 miles S.E of Billings, MT. The cave is a key aborigine occupation site of the middle to the late prehistoric period. The walls once displayed many original Indian photographs.
Pompey's Pillar:  A massive block of sandstone 150' high. Clark named the rock after Sadajawea's son and carved his signature on the face, which still remains today.
Beartooth Highway:  The Beartooth Hwy (US 212) climbs to an elevation of 10942' at Bear Tooth Pass between Redhodge MT, which is 63 miles from Billings, and the northeast entrance to Yellowstone Park.
Crow Fair:  Crowfair is hosted each August by the Crow Tribe at its fairgrounds near the Crow Agency. It hosts parades, horse races, pow-wows, dancing, and singing amid throngs of friendly Indian people. It is located 45 miles S.E of Billings.
