The area is home to Southern National Raceway, an affiliate of Nascar Winston racing series for late model stock cars, wonderful antique stores, historical battlegrounds, and the Ava Garner Museum.

Stock car races each Saturday night - admission for grandstand 16 yrs and up $12, 10 to 16yrs is $8, and 9 yrs and under is free.
