Its ideal location affords a quiet sanctuary only 4 short blocks to shops, theaters and gourmet restaurants. All 6 rooms are individually air conditioned and heated. Some have fireplace. All have either garden or mountain views. Chanticleer is famed for our legendary breakfasts served each morning either in the sunny dining room or outside on the patio or in the gardens. Each room has a private bath, direct-dial phone with answering machine, private label amenities, pure cotton bathrobes, lush towels, down comforters, lovely antiques, good reading lamps by the bedside, etc. Afternoon refreshments include complimentary sherry, iced tea, lemonade, port, and homebaked cookies. Guests enjoy a spacious and private yard in which to relax and read in the afternoons, as well as a common area Jacuzzi. Many outdoor activities await guests including hiking, biking, tennis, golf, ice skating, skiing, rafting, fishing, etc. Ashland is renowned for its Oregon Shakespeare Festival Theater as well as other smaller local theaters and the nearby Britt Music Festival.
