The Residence Inn Columbia is located one mile from Riverbanks Zoo, two miles from Dutch Square Mall and three miles from the campus of the University of South Carolina. Downtown Columbia is two miles east of the hotel.Studios are large open rooms with either one queen bed or two double beds, full bath and furnished living/dining area with outdoor patio. Most studios have a fireplace and some units have a sofa bed. Penthouse suites are bilevel units with one queen bed and full bath in lofted bedroom and one queen Murphy (pulldown) bed, full bath and furnished living room with balcony, dining area and fireplace on the main level. Some penthouse suites have a separate bedroom with one queen bed behind French doors instead of the Murphy bed and all accommodations have a fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker, cooking and eating utensils, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator with icemaker. / A complimentary hot breakfast buffet is served daily featuring breads and pastries, cereals and hot oatmeal, eggs, fruits and juices, hot and cold beverages, waffles and yogurt.
