Jasmine Porch:
Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, shaded by centuries old live oaks, you'll find the Jasmine Porch restaurant at the Kiawah Island Inn. Here you can enjoy the island's only daily full-service breakfast buffet and on Sunday, a Champagne Buffet Brunch. For lunch or dinner, select from an extensive menu featuring both classic and contemporary selections. The Jasimine Porch specializes in presenting ocean fresh local fish and seafood, grilled Angus beef, and regional specialities. Choose from an extensive selection of wines by the glass. Jackets are not required in our smoke-free environment. Smokers are invited to enjoy our spacious porch area. Golfer's Breakfast coupons honored.

The Dining Room At Osprey Point:
Kiawah Island Resort's newest and most luxurious addition. The Osprey Point Clubhouse features breakfast and lunch in a clubhouse setting, overlooking the greens of the Osprey Point Golf Course. Start your day off on the veranda with a cool lemonade or end your afternoon in the Grand Hall Lounge with a cocktail and a fine cigar. The dining room offer the Kiawah dining group's finest evening dining experience. The clubhouse also features a state of the art pro shop and is home to our Governor's Club members. Golf attire is required for daytime dining and jackets are required in the evening.

The Indigo House:
For exciting interpretations of Italian, Mediterranean and local favorites, enjoy casual dining at the island's only bistro. Tempt your taste buds each evening with our nightly tapas feature. Offering many delightful vintages by the glass, complete the perfect meal with a selection from a well-rounded wine list. Our lively bistro setting is casual, family-friendly, and features a playful children's menu. Our environment is smoke-free (optional seating in the bar or on the veranda for our smoking patrons).

The Ocean Course Restaurant:
At the Eastern tip of the island, behind the Vanderhorst gate, the Ocean Course provides superlative seaside dining for breakfast or lunch. You don't have to play golf to enjoy the majestic view of the Atlantic and a sumptuous meal on the veranda. In the afternoon, enjoy your favorite beer, wine or cocktail in the clubhouse bar. This restaurant honors the Golfer's Breakfast coupon. Dress is casual and our environment is smoke-free (veranda seating is available for our smoking patrons).

Sweetgrass Cafe:
Kiawah Island Resort's quaint, American Cafe, located in the Straw Market in West Beach Village. Enjoy grilled meats and fish, a savory selection from our rotisserie, creative pizzas and pasta specials, or one of our mouthwatering sandwiches. Round out your meal with one of our delicious homemade desserts. The Sweetgrass also offers a selection of beers and a variety of wines by the glass. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly. We offer a smoke-free environment (seating available on our porch for our smoking patrons).

Sundancer Bar & Grill:
Join us at the island's only oceanside open air bar and grill featuring a selection of light fare ranging from grilled burgers and nachos, to fruit plates and crudite platters. Be sure to cool yourself pool side with an ice cold beer or frozen yogurt. Don't miss a minute of the sunset from the bar's upper deck view of the Atlantic. The Sundance Grill may close due to inclement weather.

Topsider Lounge:
After dinner, or perhaps before you go out for the evening, stop by the Topsider Lounge, above the Kiawah Island Inn, the island's only lounge where you can enjoy fantastic ocean views on our veranda. Live entertainment is frequently featured on weekends. Open late, it's a great place to stop for a nightcap. Dress is casual. Smoking is permitted throughout the lounge. The Topsider also offers a fine selection of imported cigars from our humidor.

The Food Court:
Perfect for the family, the island's only Food Court is located in the Town Center at East Beach Village. Here you'll find pizza, deli sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs and an array of tempting desserts including hand scooped ice cream and gourmet coffees. Enjoy lunch and dinner in the Food Court's charming indoor/outdoor courtyard. Indoor play, dining and entertainment area for younger children. Carry out orders are available from single portions to family-size meals. Dress is very casual and our environment is smoke-free (optional seating on the patio for our smoking patrons).

The Market at Town Center:
Kiawah Island Resort's newest and only market, located in the Food Court at Town Center. The perfect place for you to stock up on all of the things you'll need. You will find groceries, sundries, film, newspapers, Kiawah Island logo wear, video rentals, beer, wine, freshly baked breads and sweet treats.

Night Heron Park Cookouts:
Parents and children alike will enjoy our supervised Night Heron Park Cookouts and Field Games, held each Tuesday (seasonal) at 6:00pm. Grilled franks, hamburgers and a selection of Lowcountry salads are sure to please. Cookouts and Family Field Games are detailed in our Resort's Activity Guide.

Mingo Point Lowcountry Oyster Roast and Barbecue:
Come experience another Kiawah Island Resort tradition at Mingo Point on Monday evenings (seasonal). Featuring oysters roasted ove an open pit, barbecue chicken and ribs, homemade coleslaw, molasses baked beans, delicious desserts and more. Our barbecue buffet is from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. The oysters are roasted from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Lively, local entertainment at Mingo Point continues until 10:00pm.

World Class Golf:
Many consider Kiawah Island to have one of the finest collections of golf courses in the country. At Kiawah Island Resort, golfers can sample the works of four masters of modern golf course architecture without leaving the island. In fact, Kiawah Island Resort is the only resort in the country that has three courses ranked on Golf Digest's list of "America's Top 75 Resort Courses," and Conde Nast Traveler recently listed the Resort among the top "50 Golf Resorts Worldwide."
Cougar Point, Kiawah's newest course, is a Gary Player design with an abundance of scenic marshside fairways and well-guarded greens. Water is a key hazard here, coming into play on thirteen different holes.
Osprey Point, a Tom Fazio design, draws upon Kiawah's semi-tropical surroundings to make dramatic use of moguls, mounding and undulating fairways.
Turtle Point has been rated among the finest resort courses in America. Highlighted by three breathtaking ocean holes, this Jack Nicklaus design was the venue for the 1990 PGA Cup Matches.
The Ocean Course, by legendary designer Pete Dye, is known around the world as the host site of the dramatic 1991 Ryder Cup and 1997's World Cup of Golf. With every hole offering dramatic views of rolling dunes and Atlantic surf, it has earned its place among the world's greatest.

Resort Tennis:
A tennis haven, Kiawah Island Resort is ranked #3 on Tennis Magazine's prestigious list of the "Top 10 Greatest U.S. Tennis Resorts." Kiawah has two complete tennis complexes to accommodate your tennis needs. Both facilities have fully stocked pro shops with the latest equipment, merchandise and logo apparel. Stringing, racquet rental, matchmaking services as well as daily clinics, drill sessions and private instruction are offered at both clubs. Guests of Kiawah Island Resort receive one hour of free tennis daily. Our talented year-round staff of professionals will be happy to organize a competitive tournament or exhibition during your conference.

Kiawah Island Resort Nature Program:
Kiawah Island is composed of 10,000 acres of unique beaches, salt marshes, maritime forests and brackish ponds. These spectacular ecosystems are home to over 170 species of birds, 30 species of reptiles and amphibians, and 18 species of mammals. The Resort's full-time staff of naturalists and biologists are committed to providing you with a comprehensive view of this fascinating barrier island environment. An overview of the nature program we will offer this summer is listed below.
March Creek Canoeing Paddle the shifting tidal currents through Kiawah's maze of tidal creeks and marshes. Paced for novice paddlers, this tour offers a chance to view wildlife including dolphin, fish, oysters, crabs and an abundance of birds.
Island Sampler Explore the diversity of our maritime forest, salt marsh and beaches while discovering secrets of the plants and animals which live there. This multifaceted tour provides a chance to beachcomb, birdwatch, or simply enjoy the fresh open air.
Birding Delve into the fascinating avain world. This birding tour is conducted by a staff naturalist with a wealth of information about the various species and their adaptations to their environment. 172 species and counting!
Island Biking Join the naturalists on a tour of the island and its network of trails. Four different tours are offered, each featuring one of the many natural and historical aspects of the island. Stops include Marsh Island Park, Bufflehead Pond, and other points of interest.
Scutes and Scales Get a hands-on experience with our alligators, snakes and turtles, and learn more than you ever wanted to know about our scaly friends. This classroom activity will teach you about reptiles, their unique characteristics and their importance to our ecosystem.
Gators-N-Y'all These are the largest reptiles in the U.S. and one of Kiawah's most feared and misunderstood creatures. Come and explore the life of the American Alligator. We will dispel some of the common myths and explain how to safely observe them.
