Hunting:
Thousands of hunters travel to Mitchell every year in search of the wily ringneck. The season begins in mid-October and runs through the middle part of December. The daily limit is 3 cock pheasants with possession limit of 15 birds over a five day period. Shooting hours are 12 PM to sunset from October 19-26, and 10 AM to sunset during the remainder of the season. For more hunting information, call Dave at 605-996-6208. Good hunting!!

World's Only Corn Palace:
Mitchell, SD 57301 605-996-5567 or 800-257-CORN Hours of Operation: 8 AM - 10 PM during 5/30 to 9/1 8 AM - 5 PM during off-season The Corn Palace was built in 1892 to prove the fertility of the soil and to promote settlement. Each year thousands of bushels of corn and small grains are applied to the outer walls of the building in pictorial form, the designs are changed every year.
